for the first time in Ever, i want to spend tonight with my mother looking over my shoulder. so that she can help chase away the ever-consuming gloom while i'm forced to wrap a bajillion presents. couldn't find the energy to get out of the house today to get the last few gifts...am now beyond the point of even the barest minimum of tolerance for the christmas chores rush. i need these few days to be last week right now.
