beauty is pain.

wandered from 9th and olympic all the way up to 1st and hill today in 2-1/2" wedge heels. i looked good...at least until the end of the walk when there was a definite slouch to my stance (my god, the pain the pain!!!)

the main purpose was to steep myself within sw geekery (fidm's star wars costume exhibit) but, as it always does, shutter finger took over and the morning trip extended into an afternoon of artsy fartsy gasms. basquiat exhibit at moca grand was interesting (mostly the black figure heads seemed to follow me around the gallery...freaky). modern art is so lonely...all introverted, dark, and emo. very isolationist. paint slathered over found objects is rather depressing to look at -- and not just simply an evocation of modern decriptitude. so i guess it was worth the $8 to wander through a bunch of works that i can actually somewhat feel something for.

on a another note, it took over 5 minutes just to download all the photos i've taken lately. um, wow.
