people cancelling tomorrow's engagements?
--god's giving you a chance to finish that other thing you haven't even started on yet.

sudden influx of emails from friends?
--god's telling you to quit feeling the self-pity and see the love.

running into the same "actor" guy on the corner of 5th and main dressed in the subway sandwich outfit?
--god's showing you your possible future if your ass don't get moving and get a job.

the thing is though, one's got to have the brains to understand the signals god's sending you in the first place.
