so yieah, totally, i know. chinese people so suck. they're greedy, selfish, self-serving (is that repetitive), stingy, ungrateful, racist rice swallowers.

AND YET.

DID YOU KNOW?

CHINESE PEOPLE ARE EARTH'S LAST SALVATION.

WHY?

because i know of no other race/culture who keeps and reuses such things as margarine tubs, saran wrap, take-out containers, styrofoam meat plates, paper bags, kleenex boxes, empty food cans, glass food jars, and sandwich bags. no other race/culture wipes clean disposable gloves and folds them away for "jus rin case!". or uses a wok for well nigh twenty years and passes it on to the next generations as an heirloom. or even finds the time to actually perforate toilet paper at each dotted line to use less but save more. much less find any other race/culture who can make a handful of "freely acquired" mcdonald's napkins last past six months by neatly ripping each paper into two or three parts. while the rest of america thoughtlessly tosses away anything and everything they don't want into the wallowing heaps of their local garbage landfill, chinese people across the world are diligently saving each scrap and bit of practically everything. stingy pack-rat syndrome? oh hell yieah. but i don't see no green house effect (whatever the hell that is) or health damaging landfill housing development contributed to by any chinese person. damn freaks but hey, they will save the world.

it is exactly this kind of ironicism (is that even a word?!) that makes life so wonderful eh. :)
